Тети с клюшками давно не новость. В данном сообщении речь о том, что прошел отбор участников на Олимпиаду в Лиллехаммере для участия в Skills Challenge. В Лиллехаммере будет разыграно 4 комплекта медалей - мужчины (5 команд), женщины (5 команд), а также 2 комплекта в Skills Challenge.

Men's Under 16 Tournament and Women’s Under 16 Tournament
The men’s and women’s tournaments will be played in both Kristins Hall and the Youth Hall. The tournaments operate with 5 teams in each gender, playing a Round Robin Preliminary Round followed by the top 4 teams in each tournament advancing to the Semifinals and Finals for medals. The men’s and the women’s tournaments are operated with 14 games in each, played over 9 days.
Men’s Skills Challenge and Women’s Skills Challenge
This unique event consists of the best 15 male and 15 female athletes qualified from the 45 countries that began in qualification plus one male and one female athlete from the host country of Norway.
Within their gender, the athletes compete against each other in a series of individual skills tests designed to challenge their individual skating, shooting, puck control and agility skills. The competition operates with three days of qualification followed by the Grand Final where the top 8 athletes in each gender compete for medals.
